Spectator Info

Here you will find the most important information for spectators to the 2024 Munich International Junior Regatta.

  • Entry is free of charge. Accreditation is not required.
  • A car park is located behind the grandstand (see site map no. 15). Parking is subject to a charge and can be paid for at the entrance.
  • The regatta centre is also connected by public transport via the Dachau (S2) or Oberschleißheim (S1) S-Bahn stops and the X201 bus service. The bus runs every 20 minutes on Saturday and every 60 minutes on Sunday. You can find the timetable for the X201 line here. For general information on public transport, please refer to the website of the Munich Transport and Tariff Association MVV.
  • The large grandstand is unfortunately closed during events for fire safety reasons! Spectators can use the natural grandstand (see site plan no. 16) or the green area in front of the large grandstand at the award ceremony (see site plan no. 14).
  • The road on the west side of the water basin (opposite the large grandstand) can be used by pedestrians. The road on the east side (finish tower side) is closed to pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Cycling on the course is reserved for the organisation team and coaches during the regatta.
  • There is a stand in the area of the finish tower where visitors can purchase drinks, snacks and sandwiches. Upstairs in the regatta building is the traditional RGM-Stubn with coffee, cake and snacks. (See site plan no. 6.) You will need cash for both offers. Card payment is not possible.
  • Public toilets can be found on the ground floor of the regatta building (see map no. 12) as well as in the administration building (see map no. 8) and at the Munich Beach Resort to the south.
  • You will find a range of rowing clothing manufacturers, rowing accessories and boat builders in the area of the boat storage (see site plan no. 10).
  • You will find a first aid centre for emergencies in the regatta building (see map no. 13).
