FISA Rules of Racing

Races will be carried out according to the FISA Rules of Racing. Rowers aged 27 or over during 2010 will be eligible to participate. The age attained by the rower at the end of 2010 determines the age group.

The minimum weight for coxswains is 50kg. Coxswains will be weighed once for the whole regatta. Weighing must be completed at the latest one hour before the coxswain's first race.

Weighing Times:
30 July 2010 08.00 - 09.00 hours
30 July 2010 17.00 - 19.00 hours
31 July 2010 08.00 - 09.00 hours
31 July 2010 18.00 - 19.00 hours (for mixed races)

Coxswains may be of either gender. The coxswain's age is not taken into account when calculating the minimum age (MA) and the minimum avarage age (MAA) for a crew.

Mixed crews must comprise 50% male and 50% female (coxswains are ignored for these purposes).

Age Groups

A = MA  27 years
B = MAA 36 years
C = MAA 43 years
D = MAA 50 years
E = MAA 55 years
F = MAA 60 years
G = MAA 65 years
H = MAA 70 years
I = MAA 75 years
J = MAA 80 years

Age Control

During the regatta, every participant must be able to prove his/her age with an official photo document (Passport, Identification Card). We reserve the right to perform random checks.

Clothing

All members of a crew must wear uniform clothing. This also applies to composite crews. The exceptions to this rule are the mixed crews on Sunday 1 Ausgust 2010.

Race Scheduling

If the number of entries for a category exceeds the number of lanes the category will be split into several races. If only one entry is received for a certain age group then this crew will start in the next possible younger group.

Anti-Doping

Competitors in the Masters regatta may also be required to submit to doping controls as specified in the Fisa Rules of Racing.

Any medication must be certified by the attending doctor along with the diagnosis and prescribed substances - so long as they are not forbidden by the anti-doping regulations but are notifiable - and a copy of the certificate must be handed in at the regatta office in a closed envelope before racing. To maintain confidentiality, these envelopes will only be opened in the presence of the person submitting the envelope. If no doping control is performed then the documents can be picked up from the regatta office at the end of the regatta upon presentation of an official identification document.

Health

Every participant is personally responsible for his/her health and has to ensure that he/she is up to the physical demands of a rowing race.

Catering

Our caterering partner will supply hot and cold meals and drinks at the regatta course in a restaurant marquee during the day.

Regatta Fees

Single Sculls € 20
Pairs/Doubles € 25
Fours         € 40
Eights        € 80

Coxswains pay no fee.
For late entries that are accepted the fees are double the normal fee.
